2200 Pre-insulated

DEKORON®/Unitherm™ Series 2200 pre-insulated tubing is a thermally insulated transport line suitable for steam, gas or liquid transport. The energy-efficient design meets OSHA personnel protection requirements by limiting the jacket surface temperatures to 140ºF (60ºC) or lower at 80ºF (26ºC) ambient conditions, while transporting 400ºF (204ºC) saturated steam. 2200 series pre-insulated is used extensively in refinery and petrochemical applications to connect pipe and vessel steam tracing to steam supply manifolds. In addition, 2200 pre-insulated provides long term energy savings when used to return condensate back to the boiler. Unlike field insulated systems which are extremely difficult to seal,  2200 pre-insulted utilizes a continuous extruded polymer jacket to prevent moisture egress which is the primary cause of insulation failure.
