4200 Pre-insulated
DEKORON®/Unitherm™ Series 4200 Aerogel pre-insulated tubing utilizes nanotechnology to provide the highest performing thermal insulation available today. Our thermally insulated transportation lines are suitable for steam, gas or liquid transport and may be designed for applications ranging from cryogenic temperatures to superheated steam. As with all DEKORON®/Unitherm™ Pre-Insulated Tubing Bundles, the Series 4200 Aerogel bundle’s energy-efficient design meets OSHA personnel protection requirements by limiting the jacket surface temperatures to 140ºF (60ºC) or lower at 80ºF (26ºC) ambient conditions, while transporting 400ºF (204ºC) saturated steam. In addition to providing superior insulation value while reducing outside diameters by as much as 50%. The proprietary insulation used in our 4200 series is hydrophobic. This feature combined with its ultra low free chloride content makes 4200 pre-insulated the ideal choice where chloride stress corrosion is of concern.
